Inter-Alliance International announces International IFA Seminar

Inter-Alliance International (IAI) is pleased to announce that it will be holding its next International IFA Seminar in Kenya from 7th to 10th September 2004.

The Seminar, which will be held at The Windsor Golf & Country Club in Nairobi, will be attended by Consultants from IAI's subsidiaries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, as well as by Members of Inter-Alliance WorldNet, IAI's international IFA network. Over 50 IFAs have already confirmed their attendance and the required sponsorship has already been secured from international product providers.

The Seminar theme will be "Raising the Bar" - a theme that reflects the need for international IFAs to raise their advice and service standards, improve their business processes, and to adapt to the ever changing environment within the international financial services industry. Delegates and Sponsors will get the opportunity to meet with industry leaders and to share information on changes taking place within the various jurisdictions in the offshore world, as well as to catch up with industry developments, products, and services.

Although designed mainly as a training and development forum, the agenda also provides for a variety of social opportunities. From Gala dinners to golfing, every taste is catered for.

IAI recently confirmed that its trading results have continued to improve, with turnover for the international IFA group up over 100% on 2003 and profits being generated from each subsidiary. The Group now has an annualized turnover exceeding $10m and has a distribution force of 130 quality advisers worldwide.

Although fully subscribed, there are a limited number of places still available to other international IFAs. All enquiries should be directed to

Brian Cosgrave, Chief Executive of Inter-Alliance International Group, said:

"After our very successful meetings in Limassol and Dubai, I am delighted that we are going to Kenya for our next international IFA seminar. There is no doubting the value of these gatherings, and the very positive response from delegates and sponsors alike, indicates that we have been getting the formula just right. We have long recognized the need for a greater level of professionalism within the international IFA community and we have made clear our intentions in this regard for quite some time now. We are committed to the education, training, and development of all IFAs operating under our brands and we are developing processes and systems to ensure that international clients are provided with the highest standards of advice and service. We welcome the increase in international regulation because it drives up the quality of advice and service. We believe that the international marketplace can improve enormously provided that IFAs rise to the challenge of "raising the bar" in terms of their professional standards."
